TEHRAN June 21 (Reuters) - Iran will issue bonds worth 2 billion euros ($2.48 billion) to help finance development of its petrochemical industry, the Oil Ministry website SHANA reported on Monday.

"Despite sanctions, Iran will be self-sufficient in gasoline production within two years and after that we can begin exporting gasoline," Iran's Deputy Oil Minister Ali-Reza Zeighami said on Thursday.

He said that Iran imports 18 to 20 million liters of gasoline per day, while it produces 43 million liters.

Zeighami noted that Iran is implementing five projects at its refineries to increase gasoline production.

"After completion of these projects, Iran's gasoline production will hit 130 million liters per day," Fars news agency quoted the deputy minister as saying.

Selbst, wenn die iranischen Erdölreserven noch etwa 80 Jahre reichen, zeichnet sich zusehens ab, dass in 10-15 Jahren keine bedeutenden Mengen an Rohöl mehr exportiert werden, da der Verbrauch der heimischen Petrochemie und Raffinerien massiv gegenüber den Fördermengen zunimmt. Die Energieexporte verlagern sich damit vorwiegend auf Strom und Erdgas.
