TEHRAN, March 24 (MNA) - Iraqi President Jalal Talabani has been officially invited to visit Iran to take part in Persian New Year's celebrations.
Iran plans to mark the Persian New Year (Noruz) in the ancient city of Shiraz. The Tajik president is also a gust to the celebrations.

Teheran (Reuters) - Der Iran will in diesem Jahr 6,8 Milliarden Dollar zur Förderung von Gas-Projekten ausgeben.
Das Geld solle in die transnationale Gaspipeline, in eine zusätzliche Leitung ins benachbarte Turkmenistan sowie in den Ausbau von drei Raffinerien fließen, sagte am Samstag der Geschäftsführer der National Iranian Gas Company, Dschawad Odschi. Im vorigen Jahr seien 6,8 Milliarden Kubikmeter Gas exportiert worden. Die Türkei ist der größte Abnehmer von Gas aus der Islamischen Republik.

TEHRAN (FNA)- New Uruguayan President Jose Mujica voiced his country's willingness to use Iran's scientific and industrial developments and advancements.
Speaking at a meeting with Iran's visiting Minister of Cooperatives Mohammad Abbasi in Monte Video on Friday, Mujica stressed that his country attaches great importance to its relations with independent countries, such as Iran.
The Uruguayan president also announced that he would visit Tehran in the near future.

Abbasi also reminded ongoing pressures on the Iranian nation by the West, and stated, "Unity among world nations, including the Iranian and the Uruguayan nations can annul the effects of such pressures."
