Former top Pakistani nuclear scientist and proliferator Abdul Qadeer Khan indicated in a letter that China provided his country with nuclear-weapon materials and schematics, the Washington Times reported today
"We put up a centrifuge plant at Hanzhong, (China)," Khan wrote in the 2004 letter to his wife. "The Chinese gave us drawings of the nuclear weapon, gave us 50 kg of enriched uranium, gave us 10 tons of UF6 (natural) and 5 tons of UF6 (3 percent)."
Khan's remarks could clarify the source of nuclear-weapon design information, written in Chinese, that U.S. officials obtained during the dismantlement of Libya's WMD programs in 2003, according to the Times.....
