Six men detained in Chechnya on suspicion of terrorism, kidnapping
Six active members of illegal armed formations were detained in Chechnya during the Whirlwind-Antiterror operation over the past day, the interim press centre of the Russian Interior Ministry in the North Caucasus region told an ITAR-TASS news agency correspondent on Wednesday. These people are responsible for sabotage and terrorist acts, kidnapping people for ransom and other serious crimes committed while being members of bandit groups.
