If suicide bombers come to America, they are likely to be carrying biological, chemical or nuclear weapons with them, according to an al-Qaida memo discovered by Pakistani authorities.
Pakistan President Pervez Musharaf, under heavy American pressure, has once again instructed his security and intelligence chiefs to focus on jihadi suicide volunteers – this time because of a memo showing they will be used to carry weapons of mass destruction, reveals Joseph Farah's G2 Bulletin.

Zitat:Secret arrests as Dutch terror threat 'worse than thought'

14 September 2004

AMSTERDAM — The Netherlands is facing a far larger and more organised threat from Islamic terrorists than previously thought, it was reported Tuesday. One source said the Dutch authorities are conducting at least 15 investigations into planned attacks.
A day after news broke on Monday that Dutch police investigating Islamic terrorism had arrested four people in July, newspaper Algemeen Dagblad (AD) said more terrorist suspects had been arrested than previously revealed.
One of the investigations is focusing on suspects who were allegedly planning a bomb attack on a hotel and another involved a planned attack against prominent Dutch politicians.

Zitat:Islamists will meet to respond to `American Zionist terror'

BY MATTHEW SCHOFIELD

BERLIN - (KRT) - German officials are growing concerned about a conference for Arabs and Muslims on "American Zionist terror" that looks like it will go ahead as planned in Berlin, despite calls for its cancellation by a prominent Jewish organization.
The conference, scheduled for Oct. 1-3, is expected to attract as many as 500 Islamists from around the world to form "a unified response" to the American presence in Iraq and to Israel's existence, according to promotional literature for the First Arab, Islamic Congress in Europe.
(...)
He added that German officials are scrambling to figure out what they can do, if anything, about the congress.
"If their agenda included bombing the Reichstag, we could stop them. But unless there's evidence of a crime, there's little we can do."

The Commons leader, Peter Hain, today admitted for the first time that al-Qaida had been "focusing" on parliament and reiterated his call for an urgent security review after two embarrassing security breaches in 24 hours.

Zitat:Al Qaeda seen planning for 'spectacular' attack

By Bill Gertz
THE WASHINGTON TIMES

U.S. intelligence agencies concluded recently that al Qaeda — fearing its credibility is on the line — is moving ahead with plans for a major, "spectacular" attack, despite disruptions of some operations by recent arrests in Britain and Pakistan.
Officials said recent intelligence assessments of the group, which is blamed for the September 11 attacks, state that an attack is coming and that the danger will remain high until the Nov. 2 elections and last until Inauguration Day on Jan. 20.

FBI-Zentrale in Washington: Überlastete Bundespolizei?

Zitat:EDITORIAL: Jamaat-e-Islami’s fatal isolationism

The three-day Jamaat-e-Islami congregation or ‘world conference’ at Azakhel near Peshawar on Saturday has taken extreme political and economic positions. These will serve to intimidate the world and compel many interest groups in Pakistan to review their options vis-à-vis the religious party. The party chief, Qazi Hussain Ahmad, who was not allowed to visit Holland and Belgium and was embarrassed by questions from journalists in Norway last month, has taken the Jamaat one step further on the road of radicalisation by condemning the West. He has done this for two reasons: he wants to attract the attention of the electorate in Pakistan and he seeks to upstage the JUI within the MMA.

The naib (deputy) amir of the party, Senator Prof Khursheed Ahmad, told the gathering that the United States and its allies had crippled the economies of the Muslim countries by taking over their resources. He argued that the only way to recover from this subjugation was by waging jihad. He said that the Almighty had directed Muslims to increase their power, which included economic strength.

Zitat:US had plans to invade Pak

ANI[ SATURDAY, OCTOBER 02, 2004 10:53:29 AM ]

WASHINGTON: In a book that is likely to be released later this month, its author has startlingly revealed that the Bush administration has firmed up plans to carry out an invasion of Pakistan's North West Frontier Province, which is seen as the command centre of the al-Qaeda terrorist network.
George Friedman, the founder and chairman of the well regarded news and analysis service, Stratfor, reveals in his book titled America's Secret War , the ongoing, but hidden struggle between the United States and its enemies.
"The United States will threaten Iran with war if it aids al-Qaeda. The United States will have to invade northwest Pakistan. There are plans for this already. In addition, if Pakistan collapses due to an invasion, the United States and India will have to jointly occupy Pakistan. The end game is Pakistan," the Daily Times quotes Friedman as saying.
