Eine neue nordkoreanische ICBM?
Zitat:North Korea unveils what appears to be a new intercontinental ballistic missile at military parade
SEOUL, South Korea — North Korean leader Kim Jong Un warned Saturday that his country would "fully mobilize" its nuclear force if threatened as he took center stage at a military parade in which the country unveiled what appeared to be a new intercontinental ballistic missile and other additions to its growing weapons arsenal. [...]
Kim's speech was punctuated by thousands of goose-stepping troops, tanks, armored vehicles, rocket launchers and a broad range of ballistic missiles rolled out in Pyongyang's Kim Il Sung Square. The weapons included what was possibly the North's biggest-yet ICBM, which was mounted on an 11-axel launch vehicle that was also seen for the first time. The North also displayed a variety of solid-fuel weapon systems, including what could be an advanced version of its Pukguksong family of missiles designed to be fired from submarines or land mobile launchers. [...]
The probable ICBM paraded Saturday was clearly the new strategic weapon Kim had promised to show, said Melissa Hanham, deputy director of the Austria-based Open Nuclear Network. North Korea had already demonstrated a potential ability to reach deep into the U.S. mainland with a flight test of its Hwasong-15 ICBM in 2017, and developing a larger missile possibly means the country is trying to arm its long-range weapons with more warheads, she said.

Nordkoreanischer Test einer offenbar neu entwickelten GLCM...
Zitat:North Korea tests new long-range cruise missile
North Korea has tested a new long-range cruise missile capable of hitting much of Japan, state media said on Monday. The weekend tests saw missiles travelling up to 1,500km (930 miles), the official KCNA news agency said. It suggests North Korea is still capable of developing weapons despite food shortages and an economic crisis.
The US military said the latest tests posed threats to the international community, and neighbouring Japan said it had "significant concerns". A picture in the North Korean Rodong Sinmun newspaper showed a missile being fired from a launch vehicle, while another could be seen in horizontal flight. [...] State media also describes these missiles as "strategic" which usually means that the regime hopes to put a nuclear warhead on it. Analysts aren't sure yet if North Korea can miniaturise a nuclear warhead to fit on a cruise missile. However given how many advances the secretive state has made so far, no one would bet against it. [...] The US military, meanwhile, said the test showed North Korea's "continuing focus on developing its military programme", adding that its commitment to defending allies South Korea and Japan "remains ironclad".

Zitat:New North Korea MBT Main Battle Tank appears at February 2023 military parade
For the second time, North Korea presents its latest generation of Main Battle Tank (MBT) during a military parade that was held on February 9, 2023. The tank was unveiled for the first time to the public in October 2020 at the military parade marking the 75th anniversary of the foundation of the WPK (Worker's Party of Korea). [...]
The design of the turret seems very similar to the American M1A2 Abrams but features specific combat equipment while the hull and the suspension seem to be based on Soviet design tanks. The tank has a crew of three including a driver seated at the front center of the hull while the commander and gunner are in the turret. It seems that the turret is made of welded construction and is also fitted with composite spaced armor. The hull is similar to the Russian T-14 Armata and appears to be fitted with ERA (Explosive Reactive Armor) on the front and sides. [...]
On each side at the front and sides of the turret, the tank is equipped with three tube launchers that could be part of an APS (Active Protection System) such as the Russian Afganit able to detect incoming AP (Armor-Piercing) projectiles with its radar and destroys them with special fragmentation projectiles. There are also two devices mounted on the turret sides which could be the laser alarm receiver radars which be part of the APS. [...] The right side of the turret is equipped with two launchers able to fire anti-tank guided missiles what observers believe to be Bulsae-3 missiles, a copy of the Russian-made Kornet anti-tank missile.

Klassischer NORK Hybridpanzer.

Und siehe da - da purzelt was heraus...

Hallo Schneemann!
Zitat:North Korea Secretly Unveils Tianma-2 New Locally Made Main Battle Tank
The newly unveiled Tianma-2 main battle tank was on display at a defense exhibition in Pyongyang, North Korea, showcasing its advanced armor, Active Protection System (APS), and modernized design on November 21, 2024. [...]
The turret design now integrates modular composite armor, offering enhanced protection against kinetic energy projectiles (APFSDS rounds) and shaped charges (HEAT rounds). The modular construction enables swift replacement of damaged armor sections in the field, a characteristic of many advanced main battle tanks. Additionally, Explosive Reactive Armor (ERA) covers the front and sides of the hull, while wire cage armor is installed at the rear to defend against rocket-propelled grenades and other shaped charge threats.
One of the most striking updates is the integration of an Active Protection System (APS), which bears similarities to the Trophy APS from Israel and its European counterparts. The APS system on the Tianma-2 includes radar sensors on each side of the turret for threat detection, along with countermeasures designed to intercept incoming anti-tank missiles and projectiles. To bolster the tank's defenses further, the turret roof is outfitted with a counter-drone anti-tank launcher system, a feature that reflects North Korea's emphasis on countering emerging aerial threats. [...]
The upgraded turret also includes a remotely operated weapon station (ROWS) equipped with a 12.7mm heavy machine gun, as well as launchers capable of firing anti-tank guided missiles (ATGMs). The tank features a panoramic sight system for battlefield awareness and engagement for the commander and gunner, providing enhanced target acquisition and tracking capabilities.
